In short: we don't track you, and we use no cookies for statistics or advertising.

Cookies

The website only uses cookies needed for it to work: one that remembers your chosen language and – for those who log in – one for the login and one that protects the forms. That's why we don't ask for consent.

Choices such as light/dark theme and the collection view are stored only in your own browser.

The newsletter

If you sign up, we store your email address, the language you signed up in, the time and the IP address the sign-up came from, to send the newsletter and prevent abuse. You must confirm the sign-up, and you can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every newsletter. The address isn't used for anything else and isn't shared.

Logs and security

Like all websites, the server logs visits (including IP address and which page was opened) to detect and stop attacks. The logs are deleted after 90 days.

Content from others

Fonts and covers are stored on our own server. If you play a podcast under «In the media», the audio is fetched from the source (for example NRK or Acast), which then sees your IP address.
